The first Fairtrade product to come out of Afghanistan! Tropical Wholefoods have been working with Afghan raisin producers since 2006. Our aim is to enable grape farmers to export their high quality raisins and access valuable markets in Europe. We are partnering with Mercy Corps, an international non-governmental organisation working in Afghanistan since 1986, and the Parwan Raisin Producer Cooperative, a grape farmers cooperative in the Shomali Plain, Parwan province.
