Tropical Wholefoods dried fruits and nuts are tasty, versatile cooking ingredients.

  Amaretti Biscuits feature our Fairtrade apricot kernels from Pakistan
 
 
TeaCake. Very tasty and low in fat (at least until you spread with butter - yummy). Uses our two varieties of sun-dried bananas from Uganda
Jewelled Rice. Inspired by rice served at traditional Persian weddings, this beautiful dish is a wonderful accompaniment to any curry or dahl.
Fairtrade Savoury Biscuits. These are a doddle to make and great with drinks or as a mid afternoon snack.
Fairtrade Mango Chutney. This makes loads which is good as Kate is a chutney addict. Great with cheese and cold meats. Works equally well with Apricots as with Mango.
Endive Salad with Fairtrade Apricots and Kernels. This unusual salad has a retro, seventies feel to it and is delicious.
Fairtrade Simnel cake. This is a lovely cake to make at Easter, full of fruity nutty flavours and Fairtrade goodness.
Fairtrade Hot Cross Buns. A fun twist on traditional Hot Cross Buns, making them with Fairtrade dried apricots and mangoes.
Fairtrade Tropical Compote. Looks very pretty served in individual glass bowls or in a single large bowl. This is very easy to make.
Lamb Tagine with Fairtrade Mango and Apricots. The fruity, warm spice flavours in this take your taste-buds on a trip to North Africa.
Apricot Kernel Cake in Orange Syrup. Inspired by recipes from Spain and the Middle East.
Mushrooms MacSwiney. The earthy flavours of the mushrooms combine beautifully with the spicy sweet sauce.
Sri Lankan Curry. The pineapple, seafood and coconut flavours in this dish go beautifully together.
Fairtrade Apricot Cake. This lovely cake - a variation on a traditional apple cake - has a winning combination of apricot and connamon flavours.
Lentil and Apricot Dahl. This is a lovely winter comfort food.
Fairtrade Apricot and Almond Bread. This Slovenian recipe is filling and deliciously fruity and nutty.
